(D): CONCLUSION
► ☼ ► 1:04 AM

In conclusion, the park is an all-rounded facility that is supposed to be cherished. Eventhough it holds major environmental issues such as pollution, it is still a great place to be at. Residents visit it for a morning stroll, release anger or for a jog. It may be a childhood pleasure for numerous residents and it is obviously leaves a huge impact on thier lives. Appreciating biodiversity and natural environment is also important as the world is experiencing a huge global warming crisis thus we should all come together to conserve the Earth, save Gaia. If actions are not taken, we would be the ones suffering in the future as we are the future of Singapore. So to prevent such incidents we could all start by a simple thing - Appreciating. The loss or gain is up to us. And to also protect the park, we should not be inconsiderate to litter and pollute the park.

(C) IMPACT OF MAN ON JLP
► ☼ ► 12:19 AM

The impact of man on the lake park would cause a huge outbreak and it would upset frequent park goers as they enjoy being surrounded by Mother Nature. It would also cause the organisms residing in the park itself to be harmed and be endangered. Such activities include pollution and littering. By doing so, we are actually harming the marine creatures in such a way that they are not able to capture sunlight to photosynthesise as the surface of the lake is blocked by litter. Thus, the creatures will die. On land animals they might mistaken the litter as food and due to that, choke to death/ be poisoned. ANother factor that will harm the animals is the continuous rebuilding of builidings, it mainly endangers the animal as its habitat is destroyed.

Park officials have done their best by enforcing strict laws as legal actions to be taken if people were caught to be harming creatures.

(A)JURONG LAKE PARK - Introduction
► ☼ ► 5:47 AM

Introduction;
Jurong Lake Park has been established for 4 years now, landscaping the Lakeside MRT station and other government buildings such as Yuan Ching Secondary School and other condominiums. Other than housing a large variety of flora and fauna, it is also a recreational space for park goers. In 2008, the government has decided to turn the before usual park into a more facilitated one to equip water sportsman with the appropriate facilities - as such are dragonboating, kayaking and powerboating. No doubt it is also visited for just a breathe of the fresh air and to enjoy the scenery. All in all, Jurong Lake Park is an all-rounded park serviced for everyone, regardless of age or purpose.

Our reflection;
Our hands-on experience at the Jurong Lake Park was considered a very memorable, yet quite devastating. Firstly, it was enjoyable to soothe oneself by enjoying the delighted scenery of green plants and Mother Nature. Apart from that, we were bewitched at the significant number of species that could be found. It was sort of like a mini "nature reserve". However, our hearts did not come to a rest when an unpleasant sight caught our eyes - LITTER. Obviously this was due to the park goers who had violated and ill-treated the park itself, and also the rules and laws. By doing so they have polluted the environment, causing a threat to the marine life and also flaura and fauna surrounding it. If not for them, we would not be pinching our noses every few seconds for the stench smelt. Thus, we were bewildered and also devastated.
